AW17 FASHION TRENDS

For some of us Autumn is just a day away and if you have no idea whats trending this autumn/winter, have no fear because I’ve gotchu!

Now there’s so many things trending this autumn/winter and by many i mean A LOT!! so i chose the ones I like for this post.

  • BUBBLEGUM PINK

I am not a huge fan of the colour pink so i was rather stunned when i found myself loving this trend, defs a must try this winter.

  • TURTLE NECK

This was one of the biggest fall trends last year and it looks like its  staying around. Full coverage seems to be a big thing these days.

  • LAYERING

Who said slip dresses can only be worn in summer?, now you can wear them by layering up. Since we want to wear transparent looks, it only makes sense to wear something underneath as well.

  • BRIGHT FUR COATS

Faux fur has also been trending but different colours of fur popped up on the run way last year, making bright fur pretty appealing.

  • MILITARY KNIT

Military seems to be the go to colour each fall/winter and since Yeezys collection dropped this seems to be the go to knit.

  • PATENT LEATHER

We all know leather is huge in winter but  when you add glossy, high-shine finishes to it, you get a sexier, more fetish-chic version of the trend that’s definitely not for those shying away from extra attention. This look appeared in collections of Lacoste, Kenzo, Nina Ricci, Valentino, Iceberg, Lanvin and others.

  • PLEATS

This was one of the top fall trends in 2016, It was Alessandro Michele who made the pleated midi skirt and lacy underwear combination so enticing and that is where we have continued onwards from.

  • SEQUINS

This trend was in 2015, the spring of last year and its staying for fall and winter, defs a range we cannot get enough of. I haven’t been brave enough to try this trend out mainly because i felt like it was way too shiny for my personal style but I’m defs getting a signature number for my closet.

  • VELVET

Not only is this material warm but its soft to touch and  gorgeous to view. Midnight blue velvet seems to be everybody’s favourite.
